Grant Opportunities: DermLink and DermImpact from ILDS
We are pleased to inform you that the ILDS has opened applications for the DermLink Grant and DermImpact Grant programs. Below are the program details.
DermLink Grant Overview:
The DermLink Grants are part of an annual program funded by the International Foundation of Dermatology (IFD), the humanitarian arm of the ILDS. This program aims to improve the treatment of dermatological patients in underdeveloped regions. It supports temporary projects or initiatives implemented or supported by ILDS members. You can apply for funding of up to USD 5,000 for one-off projects designed to improve dermatological care in resource-limited areas.
There are three types of support available under DermLink:
- Supplies and Equipment: Dermatology supplies and devices (up to USD 3,000)
- Individual Training: Short-term dermatology training for individuals (up to USD 3,000)
- Field or Community Projects: Projects lasting less than 12 months in resource-limited areas (up to USD 5,000)

DermImpact Grant Overview:
The DermImpact Grant program supports capacity-building projects aimed at improving care and services for dermatological patients in resource-limited regions or communities. Individuals and organizations from any country are welcome to apply. The program offers up to USD 10,000 annually, with a total of USD 20,000 available over a two-year period. Selection criteria include clear evidence of need, the impact of the investment, and sustainability.
