International membership benefits

JDA welcomes individuals across the globe who wish to be a part of our dermatology community. As a JDA member, you will enjoy free access to our latest publications and various opportunities to learn and connect with more than 10,000 professionals.

Membership fee

• Admission fee: 15,000 JPY (one-off fee upon admission)
• Annual membership fee: 15,000 JPY

*You will be asked to pay online by email after your application is approved by the board.

Requirements to become a member

You need to be a member of a dermatology association in your home country, which is affiliated with ILDS, to be qualified as a JDA international member. Meanwhile, a medical specialist qualification from your dermatology association at home is not necessary.

How to apply

To apply for a JDA international membership, please send your email address via the submission form (Email Address Submission Form). In return, you will receive an automatic reply with a link to our application website. Please refer to the instructions below and fill in the form. You will also be asked to submit the following items in the application website.

A copy of the certificate to prove your membership in your dermatology association at home, which much be a member organization of ILDS

Cover letter including a list of research achievements and the reason why you are applying for the membership

Resume

A Letter of Recommendation with contact details of the referee (your supervisor at workplace, etc.)

An image file of your face photo for a membership card (file size less than 3MB)

The board reviews new membership applications every other month. Upon admission, the secretariat office will contact you for the detailed procedures for enrollment, including membership fee payment.
