JDA Statement on the Situation in Ukraine

The military aggression against the territory of Ukraine since February 24, 2022 has been a serious violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine, and such an act to threaten international peace and order cannot be tolerated.

This invasion took many precious lives of the people including civilians, and people in Ukraine are facing increasing hardship and danger now.

The Japanese Dermatological Association, a group of medical professionals who are striving for protecting people’s lives and promoting health, has decided to donate 10,000 dollars to UNHCR to help provide humanitarian support for the victims in Ukraine and the afflicted areas.

The JDA calls for an immediate restoration of peace in Ukraine.
